Educational Outreach and Distance Instruction (EODI)

is the department at Tech that oversees Distance Education offerings. Also included within EODI is the Community Education Department, offering recreational, enrichment, job training, and arts-related courses.

Includes Banweb, the online course listing and registration application; the Distance Education Course Portal, Tech's custom application for student and faculty access to videos, course materials, quizzes, discussion boards; Adobe Connect, our videoconferencing program; Moodle, a course management system that supplements our Course Portal; and Mediasite, a lecture-capture system used in many classrooms.
